- Well I am also hanging in there, but I have been in the computer
- world long enough to know that as development for the Amiga falls behind
- so does the user. You just can't afford to sit still in a market that moves
- and changes as fast as ours. I keep hoping those that are strangling what
- is left of the Amiga will let it go so someone will be able to carry the
- banner. on the good side my dealer just sold another users 4000 for full
- list price ! The toaster ans flyer are products that many still desire/need
- and still offer a lot for the buck. I saw my first Alpha boxs at a
- user group, they were tied to a 4000 running screamer net. Let me
- say that it was serving it's purpose very very well . If I could afford
- an Alpha with NT then I may be tempted but to give my 4000 up for a 486
- with windows is not what I want in my future. (I realize that pentiums
- are there but not in my present budjet).
- bill
- PS The guy who got full list for his 4000 rolled it over into an Alpha!
